I got to see it too (but it looked redder than pink in this part of the world) and I had the idea it was only pollution and gases (I learned they could create such an effect on Dawsons Creek and that Bruce Willis movie with that kid... or isn't it titled The Kid?), until i found a newspaper someone left at the toilet at work today which mentioned it as an eclipse... hooray for science and journalism! ahhh good old horrible nightmare inducing songs…
