Read these blogs while wearing a drab gray sweater (and you’ll really be cool).

There are some exciting new things happening in the blogosphere, my friends. For my part I am keeping my links section updated, and it would surely behoove you to visit some of the sites listed. I like having friends who write! It motivates me and entertains me and, well, it’s cozy. It’s like we’re all snuggled up on the couch watching a movie, or, I don’t know, reading each other’s blogs on our lap tops. Get one!

Seeing as how today is Superficial Monday I will save Part Two of yesterday’s post for another day and instead let you know about some exciting new things that are happening in the fashion world. Well, one exciting thing in particular. It is my wardrobe, which I decided today deserves its own label.  If I were to start my own clothing line I would be torn between two product names, either “Bland” or “Yawn.”  This, of course, refers only to my workaday wardrobe; my weekend wardrobe remains, as always, “Scrub.”  Affectionately.

You know, I was just thinking that it is conceivable that we might cuddle up under blankets and watch movies with very little trouble at some point. But I also wonder if that will be weird, since by the time such a thing might happen, we’re going to be like best friends via our blogs/faceboo convos? So yay for future awkward interactions!

Hey, I’m wearing a black sweater right now! Definitely cool. Definitely Yawn. As for your first comment, I think you’re right that it could happen, and also that the awkwardness of our first non-Perkins-with-a-mutual-friend real life hanging-of-out will be directly related to the amount of time that passes as blog/facebook friends. Or I could say, the natural ease of our first in-the-flesh interaction will be inversely related to our days spent as writing friends. If we are okay with some awkwardness (I, for one, have grown very accustomed to awkwardness being a major part of my daily life) then we can rest easy about the timeline.

I look for excuses like this to speak hypothetically if not scientifically, so thank you! My right brain can be overbearing.

ha! And I just wanted to second your comment about awkwardness in the everyday. It’s almost at the point where I am so used to feeling awkward that I can identify the situations where I should feel awkward and just don’t b/c I’m immune.

I’ll also endeavor to continue giving you opportunities to speak hypo-scientifically.
