What did I think about Frozen? I liked it! (That’s going to be the format for all my movie reviews from now on.) It was a fun spin on the usual princess meets prince story in a beautifully rendered Norwegian setting. Plus, when I saw Lino DiSalvo’s name in the credits I could say, “Hey, I wrote an essay about him!” Plus I starred in my second grade production of The Snow Queen, so I felt an extra connection. Plus we had a blast hanging out with our nieces, and good ol’ Uncle Zech admitted the movie was “pretty good.” That’s a lot of plusses!
Seriously, those IMAX theaters are like a maze.
Oh, and what did I think of Catching Fire? I liked it! Better than the first one, for sure. P.S. Did you see my Hunger Games fan art?
As before, Ian is the only one who gets me resorting to bathroom humor!
I mean, what’s my name right now? While I wait for my card? While it’s traveling in the mail? I’m in limbo.
Well, I wrote this comic on Sunday and almost didn’t bother finishing it because: A) We didn’t actually go to Spirit of 77, B) The Packers ended up losing, C) The NFL in general is kind of embarrassing these days, what with the racism and bullies and all. But, it was high time Kellen and Ashley made an appearance since they are fine people and good friends (and stinkin’ talented artists). By the way, not liking football isn’t a dealbreaker for us – most of our friends are football-neutral at best. Zech and I are beginning to accept that we are football fans in a soccer land.
